This course provides a historical overview of museum studies, examining the museum as a center for research and the promotion of cultural heritage. It then explores the concept of thematic museums by analyzing related concepts and investigating how these museums engage and communicate with the public.

The course presents, studies, and highlights museum objects from the country’s thematic technological museums, supported by corresponding photographic material.

It examines the role of thematic museums in the cultural development of their broader regions, with a particular focus on cultural tourism. Additionally, it explores the country’s productive history through the operation of these thematic museums.

The aim of the course is to provide an understanding of museum science, the various types of museums, and the concepts associated with thematic technological museums. In particular, students will gain insight into the role, management, and operation of thematic museums, as well as the ways they interact with the public.
