Course Tutors
The course of Archival Standards aims to familiarize students with the job of describing archival documents and files. Training in the work of description completes the cycle of courses training future archivists in basic tasks (for the remaining tasks, see the course of Historical Archives Management).
During this course, participants know the levels and methods of describing archival material, learn to analyze an archival set into its constituent parts, understand the contribution of description to the arrangement and retrieval of documents, apply the archival standards to documents and archival units of different types, chronology and level. Last but not least, making research tools.
