Course Tutors
The course Education and Libraries is conducted with lectures and presentations. The course focuses on forms of education in conjunction with the role of specific kinds if libraries, such as school and public libraries. We put emphasis not only on school libraries and but also on school librarians. In addition, we analyze the role of the public libraries in promoting education and life learning. Finally, we discuss case studies from other kind of libraries, including academic, government, bank and special libraries. Students have the opportunity to study and present a specific library focusing on its educational role, as a part of the course.
