The course focuses on the study of literature, historical bibliographies, and standards used in the research community, adapted to the different sources and nature of the documents. Students will understand the importance of a bibliography in preserving the written culture of the country and the fundamental need to reference sources for any scholarly work. They will also become familiar with current bibliographic standards and their application. They will gain bibliographic composition and citation creation skills through online collaborative management tools such as Mendeley and Zotero. Finally, the course emphasizes the critical evaluation of sources and bibliographic references in a scholarly text, enhancing students’ ability to manage information reliably and evidence-based in their research papers.
