The course explores fundamental questions about the design of spaces and interfaces, focusing on the principles that determine the quality of the user experience. Students will examine the cognitive capabilities of the human brain and how technology influences people’s needs, desires, and behaviors. Particular emphasis is placed on understanding user requirements and strategies for meeting them through optimized design approaches. At the same time, the course discusses methods for selecting appropriate technologies and creating interfaces that not only facilitate use, but can also have a drastic effect on people’s behavior. Through this process, students will gain the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively design user-friendly and innovative interactive systems.
