Ioannis D. Triantafyllou holds a PhD from the National Technical University of Athens, Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering, and is currently an Associate Professor at the Department of Archives, Library and Information Studies at the University of West Attica. He has previously worked as a research associate in many European and Greek research projects at the Institute of Language & Speech Processing (ILSP / Athena RC). Recently, he participated in the CrossCult research program (Horizon2020), as a member of the research team. He specializes in Digital Libraries, Data & Text Mining, Text Classification & Clustering, Ontologies & Metadata, Linked Data, Information Extraction, Text & Information Retrieval, Automated Summary & Text Synthesis, Translation Memories, etc.
