The course Information Policy and Services examines the information policies of various information organizations (libraries, archives, museums, documentation centers, cultural organizations, etc.) at a national and international level. It analyzes the legal, ethical, political and social issues related to the use and management of information in information organizations. The second part of the course concerns the information services of information organizations, providing an overview of their implementation at a national and international level and examining their historical evolution and their interconnection with technological developments. It also examines the role of social media in relation to the promotion, dissemination and improvement of the information services of libraries, archives and museums. Finally, it places particular emphasis on the interconnection and interaction of information policies and services in information organizations.
