Sofia Klada is a Ph.D. candidate at the Department of Archival, Library and Information Studies of the University of West Attica.

She graduated from the Department of Pedagogy and Primary Education of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA) in 2005. She also holds a M.Sc. in “History and History Teaching – Cultural Studies and Culture” from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA). In 2025 she completed her studies in the undergraduate program of the Department of Archival, Library and Information Studies of the University of West Attica.

She worked as a teacher in primary education from 2005 – 2021 and is currently seconded to the Hellenic Film and Audiovisual Center (Creative Greece). Her current research interests are related to paleography, folklore, historical archives and school libraries. She has participated in international and Greek conferences with presentations in Greece on topics related to educational programs in school libraries and the extroversion of academic libraries.
